Why it mattersRenewed ETF demand is the clearest signal yet that institutional appetite for bitcoin exposure has steadied after the summer lull.
Bitcoin rose above $64,000 on Friday, its highest level in over a week, as spot exchange-traded funds resumed net inflows after a stretch of outflows.
CoinDesk reported that US-listed bitcoin ETFs took in a net $487 million on Thursday, the largest single-day figure since early August. The Block put the four-day inflow streak at roughly $1.1 billion.
As of 10:00 UTC, bitcoin traded at $64,218, up 2.3 percent over 24 hours, according to exchange data. Ether was little changed at $3,128, while Solana gained almost 5 percent.

Analysts cautioned that the move came on relatively thin summer volume. No single catalyst was identified, though some traders pointed to improving sentiment around US monetary policy expectations.
The rebound leaves bitcoin roughly 18 percent below its all-time high from earlier this year.
